Inspired by stories in the news,  THE FOURTH ESTATE by Glenda Frank (Tarazed Gamma and The Weigh-In) visits four countries where journalists find their lives endangered simply for doing their job.  In Afghanistan,   a veteran photographer and rookie reporter dodge grenades and romance.  In North Korea,  two women condemned as spies invent curious coping devices.    In St. Louis,  two opponents who were once friends argue  environmental contamination  and divorce.  In  Dublin,  Valerie,  a crime reporter,  has received another death threat.   Will she face down the mobsters again or fold?
